County Executive Bello knows that a great community is one that creates spaces for its residents to gather, recreate, and enjoy themselves. That’s why under Adam’s leadership, Monroe County is committed to investing in our infrastructure, making our community a healthier and safer place to live for all residents.

Leveraging both state and federal funding, County Executive Bello is making critical investments in our community’s transportation and infrastructure systems, building better roads and bridges and investing in many of the great amenities Monroe County has to offer.

As County Executive, Adam recognizes that for Monroe County to continue to be a desirable place for our families to work and live in 2023 and beyond, which means we must also invest in our digital infrastructure.

Finally, with the devastating consequences of climate change continually challenging our County’s infrastructure, Adam is committed to building our community sustainably. In order to accomplish that, Adam appointed a committee to focus on and develop a Climate Action Plan, and hired an Environmental Quality Officer to ensure that plan is put into place.

Expanding the Seneca Park Zoo to make it a year-round destination with a state of the art tropics complex, aquarium, and event space.
Maintained and improved our park system with $21M in new investments to repave roads and parking lots, rehab facilities, add sports amenities, update bathrooms, and make ADA upgrades.
Investing $20 million to develop low-cost high speed internet and broadband to bridge the digital divide and position Monroe County as a tech hub.
Invested in Innovative Field (formerly Frontier Field) to keep the Red Wings playing in Rochester.
